Trunk or Treat

The week before Halloween Aaron and I, and the rest of the activities committee, put on a trunk or treat at the church for the kids. "Soups and Spooks" we called it and it turned out to be quite successful. The ward all pitched in and made their favorite soups and we had home-made rootbeer brewing over dry ice. Lance, Kelly, and Corbin Smith came and helped out a ton and we were so glad that they were there. After dinner we had the kids parade in their costumes. Crissy joined in and followed the kids a little dazed and confused. She was so distraught that she ran head on into a folding chair, thus ending her part in the parade. We headed outside afterwords and had the trunk or treat with weather that was so perfect for a Utah fall night! Crissy's Grandpa Bowen picked out her cute lady bug outfit and she loved it. It was fun to have Uncles and Aunt Kelly over from the Smith side for the weekend!
